***You are dead***

Though nobody really knows what a grue looks like, this is how I imagined it.

Grues have a fear of light, fearsome fangs and sharp claws, and tend to make gurgling/slavering noises.

the Grue, is a fictional creature from the world of Zork.
Zork is a text based adventure game. Thats right. no visual graphcs whatsoever.
basically, as you travel around the world, you are given a description of your environment in text.

for example...
You are in an open field west of a big white house with a boarded front door.
There is a small mailbox here.

and the rest requires good old imagination.
playing these games would often require having to draw a map down on paper as to remember your way around.

ahh, fun times. I seriously reccommend it.

mind you, if you are to used to modern gaming with all this graphicy stuff, I can tell you, this type of game will be very hard for you.
